RANA ECTFE lined tank features a composite structure of a steel shell and an ECTFE lining. ECTFE combines the mechanical strength of polyolefins with the corrosion resistance of fluoroplastics, making it resistant to strong oxidizing agents like wet chlorine gas and sodium hypochlorite (ordinary PTFE tends to become brittle in wet chlorine environments). Its key advantage is its ability to withstand both wet chlorine and high temperatures —— suitable for long-term use in temperatures ranging from-50℃ to 150℃, making it ideal for storing chlorine-containing media such as bleaching agents and disinfectant water.
RANA ECTFE lined tank is widely used in water treatment (such as sodium hypochlorite storage), papermaking (such as chlorine absorption liquid storage), and textiles (such as bleaching agent storage). The ECTFE lining has an anti-permeation performance that reduces chlorine permeability by 80%, which helps to minimize medium evaporation and ensures storage safety. Additionally, the high adhesion of ECTFE (with a bonding strength of at least 4MPa with steel) prevents the lining from peeling off, extending the equipment's service life to over 10 years.
